COLORIST
Born and raised in Europe, Valerie brings a chic and elegant European aesthetic to New York City’s modern hustle. Through her upbringing and travel, Valerie has been influenced by a wide array of cultures. This has helped her create color to seamlessly compliment the unique features and styles of blondes, brunettes, and redheads. Specializing in techniques such as balayage, foil highlighting, and corrective color; she can create a look that’s red carpet ready as well as everyday wear.
Before starting her career as a colorist, Valerie studied Art History at The Fashion Institute of Technology. She draws inspiration from her knowledge of different art styles and her exposure to the fashion world. This background gives her the ability to enhance the natural beauty of each client while always staying up-to-date with the latest hair color trends.
Upon joining Marie Robinson Salon, she began working alongside a talented team of colorists, and under the mentorship of Marie herself. Over the last few years, she has been able to hone her skills as a top tier colorist.
Valerie’s warm and caring personality allows every client to have a unique experience in her chair. With her attention to detail, and flair for the fabulous, she desires to make every client look and feel their best when they leave the salon.
