With over 20 years of experience, Allison’s career began in Soho assisting Oscar Bond, shortly after making the move to Sally Hershberger’s Downtown Salon. In 2010 Allison joined Marie Robinson with the opening of her eponymous Salon.
Allison’s expert taste led her to develop looks for film and TV such as, Edie Falco in Nurse Jackie and most recently John Oliver of Last Week Tonight. Allison’s creations have appeared in numerous international fashion magazines like Dazed & Confused, Rookie, and W. She assisted stylist Orlando Pita and Guido Palau’s fashion week teams for houses such as Dior, Oscar de La Renta and Ralph Lauren.
Allison Woodruff is renowned for her versatility in executing technical haircuts that are undone, wash and go, and effortlessly chic. Her innate creativity and raw talent have made her one of New York’s most in-demand hair stylists.
