Passionate, fierce, and unique, Hansen Liu is one of Manhattan’s most sought-after stylists. Voted Best Cut in NYC by Allure in 2013. He has done hair for many runway shows such as Valentino and Dolce & Gabbana early on in his career. Hansen's clientele includes many celebrities and socialites.
Originally from Taiwan, Hansen trained in Paris under the expert tutelage of Jacques Dessange. His 20 years of experience combined with his minimalist flair give his cuts the urban, effortlessly chic look that so many lust for.
Hansen draws much of his inspiration from the fashion world, with a tendency toward the avant-garde, yet timeless styles of designers such as Rick Owens and Ann Demeulemeester. Along with fashion, Hansen's passion for interior design and furniture has helped him to create unique, modern yet classic cuts and has earned him mention in many esteemed publications such as Vanity Fair.
Never one to shy away from extremes, Hansen has a particular affinity for short, edgy cuts as well as thick, long, wavy tresses. He is the specialist of Keratin treatments that will improve texture and tame frizz. With 15 + years of working with keratin treatments, he understands exactly what every texture needs. Currently working with 3 different brands of keratins in the salon, such as Brazilian Blow Out, Global keratin for resistant hair, and Keratin complex. Perhaps most important is his ability to tailor his skills to serve the unique personal style of every one of his clients.
