Brock Billings was born and raised in Southern California, and because of it, he brings an authentic yet unique aesthetic to the East Coast—and, more specifically, to the Marie Robinson Salon. Today, he is one of the most sought-after, up-and-coming hair colorists in New York.
Having grown up in the surf and sand, Brock developed a fascination for the effects the sun and salt have on hair, which led him to study, capture and recreate those beachy, sun-kissed highlights envied by so many. He also has a keen eye for tailoring blondes, redheads and brunettes alike to complement their individual skin tone and style.
Before focusing on color, Brock started his career in hairstyling. He studied under the West Coast’s elite, and styled alongside some of the industry’s top artists on numerous fashion shows and photo shoots. His work has been featured on the cover of several magazines, including Vogue, InStyle, and Entertainment Weekly. His roster of celebrity clients includes the likes of Emily Blunt, Rachel Taylor, and Lea Michele.
Brock is very down to earth and genuinely cares about each and every one of his clients. He has a special way of understanding what they want and how to ensure they feel like their best selves when they leave the salon.
